Jewish Education Center of Cleveland
The Jewish Education Center of Cleveland (JEC) is a nationally recognized central agency at the cutting edge of educational practice providing professional growth, organizational support, and avenues for Jewish journeys. As the educational planning arm of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, it administers the multi-million dollar Fund for the Jewish Future, the endowment that supports education in day schools, congregational schools, camps, Israel programming, adult education, and more.
Created in 1993 as a result of a merger of the Federation’s Commission on Jewish Continuity and Cleveland’s Bureau of Jewish Education (founded in 1924), the JEC ensures Jewish continuity by fostering and strengthening life-long Jewish learning in various settings and forms. The JEC is a 501c3 under the leadership of Marlyn Bloch Jaffe, Executive Director, and Board President, Jeffrey Wild.
